Ingredients:
For Chicken balls:
Chicken - 1/2 kg or 1 lb
cinnamon - 2 inch stick
cloves - 4 or 5
star anise -1/2
black pepper corns - 1/2 tsp
ginger paste - 1 tsp
garlic paste -1 tsp
coriander powder - 1 tsp
cumin powder - 1/2 tsp
dry red chillies - 4 or 5
coriander leaves - handful
salt to taste
oil for frying
For manchurian seasoning:
chopped ginger - 1 tsp
chopped garlic - 1tsp
chopped green chillies - 2 chillies (optional)
chopped onions (long slices) - 1/2 cup
chopped red and green peppers - 1/2 cup
chopped green onions- 1/2 cup
chopped coriander leaves - 1/2 cup
soy sauce - 1/2 cup
chilli sauce - 1/2 cup
ground black pepper - 1/2 tsp
Preparation:
1. First we need to make chicken kheema balls recipe (you can find the recipe in the link).
2. Take a pan, add some oil and let it heat.
3. Now add chopped ginger, chopped garlic, chopped onions, chopped red and green peppers.
4. Let them fry before onions turn into golden yellow.
5. Now add chicken balls, soy sauce and chilli sauce and fry a little.
6. Finally for garnishing add chopped green onions, chopped coriander leaves and ground black pepper.
*If you want to make gravy, take a tsp corn starch and mix it well in water. Add this to the pan before garnish.
It goes well with ginger rice, roti, fried rice or as a starter.
